Books Read Throughout the G3 Process

There are six books you will read together over the course of your G3 Group. All books are consistently kept in stock and available to purchase at the church office. Feel free to purchase from Amazon, Christianbook, or your preferred vendor as well.

Part I — Gaining Perspective

The first part of the G3 journey centers on Jesus' strategy of ministry—making disciples. (Weeks 1-11)

The book for this first part of the G3 experience is Growing Up: How to Be a Disciple Who Makes Disciples by Robby Gallaty

Part II — The Daily Disciplines

The second part of the disciple-making journey centers around the disciplines that are needed in order to live a godly life and effectively disciple others.

The books for this second part of the G3 experience are Share Jesus Like it Matters & Pray Like it Matters by Steve Gaines, and The Road to Somewhere: The Disciplines of a Disciple by Bill Street. (These are short but very helpful books.)

All three books are available to purchase at the church office for $18

Part III — Walking in Freedom

The third part of the disciple-making journey looks at the disciple becoming a person who walks in freedom. (Weeks 22-30) While Satan cannot rob the believer of his eternal salvation, he seeks to rob him of intimacy with God and fruitfulness in life.

The book for this third part of the G3 experience is Reclaiming Surrendered Ground: Protecting Your Family from Spiritual Attacks by Jim Logan

Part III — Leading in Faith

The final part of the process focuses on equipping disciple makers to be godly leaders. (Weeks 31-39)

The book for this last part of the G3 experience is Leading in Faith: Make Disciples by Bill Street.
