Starting January 21, 2024, we’ll be changing our Sunday morning programming to make space for future growth.
Changes to Sunday mornings at First Denham…
Our Children’s Ministry will begin a full 2.5-hour program (See Packet)
Our Student Ministries (HS & JH) will begin having Connect Groups at 9:30 & 11
Our Adult Ministry will begin distributing better across all service hours.
Connect Group 2025 Vision
We’re setting out on a bold vision to reach the greater area of Denham Springs with the good news of Jesus and connect them into a bible-centered family of faith.

We purpose to see our peak attendance for a week in 2025 reach 650 individuals attending a Connect Group.

We purpose to have one month in 2025 reach 600 in average attendance. (This includes adults, students, and kids)

We purpose to start 20 new Connect Groups by the end of 2025. (Approx. 5 groups a year.) (This encompasses adults, students, and kids)
What’s significant about the numbers?
More than attending a worship service, Connect Group attendance represents individuals and families who are making real connections within our church community and being planted where lasting spiritual growth can occur. Plainly put, we want to see people come to know Jesus and grow in their faith journey.
A person who is a member of a Connect Group is more likely to attend worship, practice godly stewardship, pray, read the Bible, share their faith, serve in different church ministries, and much more.
