Our Speaker:
Don Pucik, the Mission Strategist for the Northshore Baptist Association, will be our speaker.
Don has served in churches across the US and also served for 10 years with the 1500 churches of the Arkansas State Convention.
During 40 years of church ministry in a variety of roles, Don has been a student of what happens when God comes and touches the hearts of His people.

The retreat will be located at Camp Living Waters in Loranger, LA.

The Camp is located on 100+ acres with gathering spots, recreational areas, a gymnasium, open fields, lakes/ponds, and access to the Tangipahoa River

6:30 PM Dinner (Fried Catfish)

9:30 PM Free Time (Gym Open for Indoor Sports / Bonfire Outside)
Saturday
7:30 AM Breakfast (7:30-8:30 AM) / Morning Devotions
8:30 AM Session 2 & Breakouts

12:15 PM Lunch (Hamburgers)

Cost:
There are two options for lodging and will be handled on a first-come/first-serve basis.
Cabins - $80/person, 2 individuals per cabin, 40 spots available (Bedding provided)
Bunks - $70/person, unlimited spots available. (Need to bring own bedding incl. sheets, pillows, and blankets)
Note. We will all be in close proximity in newer buildings no matter what lodging you choose.
How Do I Get My Ticket(s)?
Tickets are available at the Connection Desk (Sundays) or Church Office (Weekdays).
Other Information:
What Do I Need to Bring?
For those staying in bunks, you’ll need to bring bedding to cover a twin-sized mattress. (This includes sheets, pillow, and blanket.)
For those staying in cabins, your bedding is provided for you.
Bring your bible. (We’ll provide a journal and pen for you)
Bring toiletries (e.g. toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, towels)
Bring some athletic clothes if you plan to play sports
Bring your guns and ammo if you plan to shoot clay pigeons afterward on Saturday.
Can I Bring My Son?
Yes, students in 9th grade and older are welcome to come. (Keep in my that the discussion and focus will be directed towards men and there may be some adult topics discussed.)
Fathers should exercise their own judgment whether their son is mature enough to sit through the sessions and engage in the discussion.
Sons who come with their fathers will not be able to “float” unsupervised while men are in session.
Meals:
All meals are included in the cost as well as access to camp facilities (excluding ropes course).
Friday’s dinner will be fried catfish
Breakfast will be bacon, eggs, grits, etc.
Saturday’s lunch will be hamburgers
Free Time Options:
Available after 9:30 PM on Friday (see schedule) and at the conclusion of the retreat on Saturday.
Open Gymnasium with basketball goals
Open fields for football, frisbee, etc.
Canoeing
Clay Pigeon Shooting (Back Field on Saturday) - “BYOG” Must bring your own guns, ammo, and clay pigeons

Can I Bring My ATV/UTV?
Yes, but you must stay on established paths and be courteous to not rut up the pathways or campgrounds. OFF-ROADING IS NOT PERMITTED. (Children under 16 driving ATV/UTV must be accompanied by an adult.)
There is a bit of a hike to the back field (where clay pigeon shooting will take place). There are some narrow log bridges that must be crossed with care.
Can I Bring My Own Kayak/Canoe?
Yes
What Time Do We Need to Leave the Campgrounds?
Lodging and meeting areas will need to be cleaned up and packed away after lunch so cleaning crews can get in. The gymnasium and outdoor areas are open for the remainder of the day.
The planned portion of the retreat will be over after lunchtime. Men are welcome to stay and do free time activities following the conclusion of the retreat but that is totally optional.
