About G3 Groups
Jesus gave His followers a mission to make disciples. His final words to His disciples were,
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
Making disciples is only something that can be done through intentional relationships. Churches, as a whole, do a poor job with this. We’ve replaced intentional discipleship with catchy programs aimed to have a wide reach. We strive to get people “saved” but rarely do we take the next step of showing them what it is to LIVE for Christ and follow His calling on us.
G3 Groups (“Grow Three”) are designed to follow Jesus’ method of relational discipleship. Most people know Jesus had 12 disciples. However, many don’t realize that out of the 12, Jesus really poured into 3 individuals: Peter, James, & John. These 3 men were with Jesus at His biggest moments and got “front row access” to what He was doing. Jesus was not only able to “teach” His disciples, but more importantly—He was able to model what He said on a daily basis. He demonstrated what a life devoted to God looks like.
