Paul Keating
Discipleship & Evangelism Pastor
Paul Keating was called to serve as First Baptist Church’s Discipleship & Evangelism Pastor in February 2020. Paul has served in various pastoral & ministry roles including student ministry, worship ministry, college ministry, and discipleship ministry before joining First Denham.
Paul has a heart for seeing lives transformed through the Gospel of Jesus. He is easygoing, approachable, and loves getting to know people and helping them mature in their walk with God. Don't hesitate to say “hi” and ask for advice on taking the next step in your faith journey. His favorite verse is Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (NIV)
Paul graduated from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a B.A., MDiv., and Th.M degrees in Christian Education and is currently working to finish a Doctor of Education (Ed.D).
Paul is married to Abbi. They welcomed their son Drew into the world in late 2022.
