A simple truth… You cannot separate the Word of God from the Disciple of God. The Bible reveals to us the nature and character of God. It shows us His love and purpose for us. And to follow Jesus, we must know His message and live it out.
God’s Word also helps us to hear from Him and have a personal intimate love relationship with God. His Word informs our prayer life and often when we don’t have words to say (especially in difficult times), we lean on the truths of what He has said to us and pray those very things.
Knowing God’s Word is essential to growing closer in your relationship with Him.
